LG emerges victorious with 31 Red Dot Design Awards Leave a comment

With each passing year, there is always that one brand, coming up with alluring and creative solutions which win over the Red Dot Jury. Awards are bestowed based on design quality and decisive brand management. As it has done in the past, the South Korean global player LG Electronics knocks out competitors, winning not one but several Red Dot Design Awards.

When introduced at the CES 2021, LG’s five designer appliances, which included LG InstaView® Door-in-Door® refrigerator, LG Fridge and Freezer pair, LG CordZero stick vacuum, LG Air conditioner, and LG Styler-Steam Clothing Care, each of which was honoured with individual awards Recognized for its strength in industrial & consumer design, LG stacked up an impressive 31 product design accolades at the Red Dot Awards this year. Earning it one of the design industry’s topmost honours.

LG Designer Appliances won in the Materials & Surfaces category for the implementation of the color, material, and finish (CMF). Materials such as stainless steel, glass, metal, and FENIX (advanced coating technology developed by Arpa Industriale) are used to further illuminate the refinement of each product. Other awards included recognition for the LG WashTower™, with exceptional design. It is a single-unit, vertical laundry solution that takes up less floor space but handles ultra-large loads.
